Originally from Northern California, Jill Bliss is an artist, designer and crafter who now calls Portland, Oregon home. She loves: rainy days, overcast weather, moss and trees so it is the perfect place for her. She adores the natural world and hand-made processes. This is evident in everything she makes from: illustrations depicting native plants, to art exploring idiosyncratic interpretations of the natural world. You will find a repeating them of meticulous lines, color, and attention to small detail in her work. Jill hopes to inspire others and encourage a more thoughtful art and design industry that focuses on local economies, fair practices, reusable or sustainable materials, and less consumption tied to ever-changing trends.
